MONTANA BOILER SCHOOL

PROPER EDUCATION IS THE KEY TO SAFE OPERATION

Locally taught 32-hour course covering the safe operation and maintenance of low pressure and 3rd class commercial boilers. The course will be taught on a weekday or Saturday, based on availability of course instructor, once a week for four consecutive weeks. The course location can change based on availability of teaching space.

There is a 40-hour job shadow that is required after the course is completed to take the state test. Please know that it is your/employer’s responsibility to find a boiler and operator to shadow. Montana Boiler School will try to assist in finding you a placement, but it is not our responsibility. Destination classes available upon request.

Completion of my final course exam with an 80% or better is required to receive a certificate that allows the student to test for a state license.
